Another nice day so again we headed for the coast but this time we took 3 folding bikes to ride along the bike path in Monterey.
First stop was San Juan Batista, location for Hitchcock’s ‘Vertigo’. We were lucky that there was a Heritage Day event so lots of volunteers in costume, bear trappers, blacksmiths working the smithy and a hurdie gurdie man. We had root beers in the saloon.
On the way to Monterey, we managed to stop to take photos of the giant fruit/veg pickers that stand in the fields. Don’t know who thought of the idea or why, but I really like them.
At the coast, we ran into a quinceanera group having photos taken while their stretch Hummer wanted.
