Nice day but we didn’t want to drive too far so we went to Shoreline Park. It’s nice to have some tea and cake at Michaels and sit on the sunny patio watching the golf course.
Took some photos of Deborah Butterfield’s bronze horse which is now outside one of the many Google buildings. The Cantor has a similar one in the main lobby and visitors are not allowed to touch but here, there’s no problem! The main difference is the patina on the outside horse is very green whilst the Cantor’s horse still looks like white driftwood.
I also tried to take a photo of the asbestos stripped Zeppelin hanger One at Moffat Field. It was built in the 1930s to house the USS Macon airship http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangar_One_%28Mountain_View,_California%29. I’ll have to explore to see if I can get closer!
